
An overview of our workshops

Each workshop is a small group format. It presents an overview of The Tellington Method and introduces participants
to the underlying principles and basic skills of the work. Workshops typically begin at 10:00 am and finish
at 4:00 pm with an hour lunch break. Participants will have the opportunity to practice the various skills
with their own animals, as well as observe Manuela demonstrate many of the techniques with dogs in attendance.
Topics to be covered in our TTOUCH BEGINNER CLINIC FOR ALL ANIMALS include:
- Philosophy of TTouch, as developed by Linda Tellington-Jones.
- What is TTouch and how it works
- Stress and the relationship to behavior.
- Introduction and skill building: TTouch bodywork.
-Benefits of TTouch.
-How to do TTouch.
-Demonstrations and practice sessions.
- Use of some TTouch Tools like.
-Body Wrap
-Calming Band
- Thru out the whole workshop we will be talking about the application of The Tellington Method to specific
behavior issues like:
-Reactivity and aggression.
-Fear and shyness.
-Thunderstorm anxiety & Noise sensitivity.
-Aging and health issues.
-Barking, chewing, destructive behavior.
-Separation anxiety.
-Enhancing performance.
Our TTouch ADVANCED CLINIC FOR DOGS is only for people that attended our
TTouch beginner clinic.
This class concentrates mainly but is not limited to:
- Introduction to leading and groundwork.
-Leading your dog in balance!
-Groundwork for focus.
- Use of TTouch Tools during ground work.
-Body Wrap
-Calming Band
-Wand
- Review of Touches.
- Answering of questions that came up since the beginning workshop.
- A closer look how to manage behavior issues.
- The workshop ends with an opportunity for questions although we encourage you to ask questions throughout the workshop.
